Magic happens when women gather.
Listen to the wisdom of the earth, the quiet whispers of your body, and truth of spirit. Lean into the most luscious support as you discover the unique weave of your passions into reality, and share the stories only you can tell.
Yes, we all need solo time & quiet — but I don’t think we are meant to wake alone, eat alone, get ready alone, work alone, and come home alone to try to ‘self-care’ ourselves into feeling better about living in a way that is antithetical to our human & our woman nature.
What I have witnessed time & again over the 20 years I’ve been gathering women in intentional ways, is that it is essential to our well-being as women to gather; to tend to space & each other together; that our deepest gifts for the world are birthed when we come together.
Connect to your depth & weave a life of vibrant authenticity
This is a space for true deepening, where we can go beyond what we are able to do online or on our own, to forge and strengthen relationships within ourselves and to each other with greater maturity in sacred practice space.
Together, we’ll sit at the feet of the great web of interdependence and attend to the intimate truth of our relationality with all things through deep explorations of our connection with ourselves, with each other, with earth & with spirit.
We know — cognitively — that we are connected.
We understand that our lives are about more than ‘just us’. We can feel that we need each other, that we need a deeper connection to place & land, that our relationship with spirit must be more than simply a place we go to ‘get’.
But most of us still struggle with how to bring this awareness into our lives in a meaningful way.
This retreat is an opportunity to explore what this means as a lived practice.
The deepest self-trust comes from trusting the innate wisdom of our animal bodies, without needing to make up stories about what those responses mean.
This is the realm both Kimberly Ann Johnson & I have been studying and teaching in for decades.
We each have decades of experience with embodied, somatic, relational, and spiritual practice & teaching.
We draw on a wide variety of movement, dance, yogic & therapeutic modalities, as well as land-based practices; equally, we draw on our own lived experience and devotion to how best to serve the web itself.
This will be a deeply experiential retreat in which you will not be a passive participant, but an active part of the web.
During the retreat, you will experience a wide range of practices that cultivate & strengthen your capacity to feel, listen to, and respond to the wisdom of your animal body. You will know how to process the wisdom your body offers — from pleasure & desire, to boundaries & discernment — with clarity & ease.
Through this 4 night, 5 day experience, you will…
Call in your dreams
Vision. Dream. Move. Speak. Create.
Connect
Honor your animal body within a loving pack. Dive into sharing, practicing, playing & revealing with like-minded creative humans, deep thinkers, feelers, artists, and lovers.
Receive Earth
Take long meandering walks into the woods. Truly rest with the heartbeat of the Northern California rolling hills & ancient trees. Bask in the Pacific Coast sunset every evening.
Be held in ritual and ceremony
In the magic of sharing circles, embodiment practices, breathwork, and nature rituals, you’ll exhale and discover what wants to move through you.
Rediscover more of YOU
Who you are on retreat is not separate from YOU. Through guidance & community, you can allow these parts to come out more – and explore new ways to bring them back into your everyday life.
This is a space to be nourished…
…through rest, healing, laughter, grief, expression, joy, deep connection, good food, play, being with what is so, desire, wonder…
The world I want to live in includes plenty of time & space for slow connecting, for laughter, for sharing around a fire under the stars; the world I want to live in has cozy beds, good food, and creative exploration; the world I want to live in honors the wisdom of elders, includes a web of support for youth, and returns us to the land to hold our hearts & bodies.
We will be on gorgeous & care-fully tended land, being fed delicious & nourishing food, staying in cozy accommodations, and gathering in beautiful meeting spaces — perfect for the kind of deep & restorative work Kimberly & I offer.
You will come away freer & more able to meet every aspect of your life.
May we all know, viscerally, our own belonging in the great web of all things.
